Start Your Career in Fire, Water and Mold Restoration

Deconstructs and rebuilds commercial and residential facilities damaged by fire, smoke, water:

• Receives work orders and schedules from supervisor and/or management
• Extensive experience with drywall, plumbing, electrical, painting, and/or cabinetry
• Inspects completed restoration premise(s) to ensure conformance to KIC Restoration Inc. standards
• Sr. Tradesman are expected to execute against time and budget and manage human capital resources effectively
• Performs other duties and conducts other research as assigned by management

The Tradesman will be required to project an approachable and profession demeanor and must also possess:

• Valid California drivers license and clean driving record
• Ability to independently lift 85lbs
• Willingness to engage gray water, black water (Cat 3) and hazardous material cleanup campaigns and ability to remain in compliance with governing health and safety regulations
• Comfort with digital communication and cursory experience with MS Office Suite & Google Apps (e.g., Gmail)
• A bias for action and personal accountability for meeting or exceeding objectives
• Sound professional judgment and remain at all times, credible, confidential and trustworthy in dealings with others
• A desire to contribute to the growth of the organization
• A willingness to perform other duties as assigned

Compensation: $15-$23 an/hour DOE – Overtime 1.5x (+Performance Bonus)

Availability: 40-55hrs (potential for more upon need)

Special Considerations: Rotational assignments to emergency 24 response team

Cleans and restores commercial and residential facilities damaged by fire, smoke, water:

• Receives work orders and schedules from supervisor and/or management
• Drives vehicles equipped with truck-mounted restoration equipment
• Inspects completed restoration premise(s) to ensure conformance to KIC Restoration Inc. standards
• Develops and maintains a field manual that outlines day-to-day operational responsibilities
• Performs other duties and conducts other research as assigned by management

The Restoration Specialist will be required to project an approachable and profession demeanor and must also possess:

• IICRC JOURNEYMAN WATER RESTORER (JWR) certification or willingness to obtain (CCT or CCMT + WRT + RRT)
• JOURNEYMAN FIRE & SMOKE RESTORER (JSR) certification or willingness to obtain (UFT + OCT + FSRT)
• Valid California drivers license and clean driving record
• Ability to independently lift 75lbs
• Willingness to engage gray water, black water (Cat 3) and hazardous material cleanup campaigns and ability to remain in compliance with governing health and safety regulations
• Comfort with digital communication and cursory experience with MS Office Suite
• A bias for action and personal accountability for meeting or exceeding objectives
• Sound professional judgment and remain at all times, credible, confidential and trustworthy in dealings with others
• A desire to contribute to the growth of the organization
• A willingness to perform other duties as assigned
